What I store in my garage
Besides my wife and I’s primary vehicles, what remains of my garage storage is occupied with piles of camping gear such as tents, sleeping bags, stoves, backpacks and a whole mess of other stuff I need to survive an extended trip into the great outdoors such as the Southern Rocky Mountains where I backpacked for a couple of weeks this summer or in Northern Alaska in years past. The garage is also loaded with SCUBA diving equipment including tanks, compressors, regulators, fins and lights which are necessary to explore water-filled caves in places such as Northern Florida. I keep everything organized using huge tool boxes that can be wheeled around as well as a multitude of cabinets. If I had not created an organized environment in my garage which is now more like an extension of the house, I’m not sure I could ever find anything in there nor park my cars in it. I just hope I do not collect enough junk whereby I will have to move my car out.
