Beach Cruiser for the Jersey Shore?
I use to bring my fancy mountain bike or road bike whenever we spent time on the beach whether it is down the Jersey Shore or the Outer Banks. Salt spray and sand along the beach have ruined or rusted enough bike chains and other parts on my fancy $3000 bicycles that I may have to consider more practical alternatives for just going to the ice cream stand or the corner grocery store. At less than $100, the beach bike also known as the beach cruiser may be an option for me. It’s super simple without all the fancy gears and brakes as well as comfortable and durable. The beach cruiser was popular back in the 1950s and 60s and are now back in vogue. If you’re trying to think of gift idea for friends, family or employees that spend a lot of time at the beach, this may be a perfect for them as well.
