Q: When do we get our prints?
A The laboratory can take anywhere from 1 to 3 business days to process your order and prepare it for shipment. Once your order is shipped, the deliveries can vary from the next business day for Federal Express overnight service to 10 business days for U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail.
Q: How do you choose which games to attend?
A: We prioritize our attendance in the following manner
- Paid editorial requests from newspapers and magazines
- Paid requests from booster clubs, teams or parents
- Booster clubs that link to our site from their site
- Games we want to watch
- Everyone else, which is usually when we get a cancellation from one of the above
Q: How much does it cost to guarantee you attend an event at a specific time and place?
A: If you want us to be at a specific time and place for a special event, the charge is $150/hour with a two-hour minimum, plus the cost of the prints or the licensing fees to use the image on a Rights Managed basis. The cost of the prints vary by size, while licensing fees are determined by usage.
Q: Will you photograph all the players on both teams?
A: We do always photograph the action of both teams though we obviously concentrate on the team that has hired us. We do our best to get a picture of every athlete whether it’s during the game itself or during warm-ups. Booster clubs that need a photo of either every athlete or specific athletes such as seniors, generally opt to pay us to attend a specific number of games during the season. We can photograph most of of your team after one game; we likely will get a photo of most of your team by the second game; and by the third game we have an excellent opportunity to capture an image of all your athletes. However, there still is no guarantee we will get the exact image you need of every single player.
Q: Can we request that you photograph our child during the game?
A: Absolutely. Just introduce yourself to us during a lull in the action and let us know who you would like for us to photograph and we will do our best to get a memorable image of your favorite athlete. If the game is underway, please do not be insulted if you have difficulty getting our attention or if we suddenly turn away from you.
Q: I prefer to do my own printing, can I just purchase the image file or a CD containing multiple images?
A: If you prefer to purchase an image file and either use your home printer or your favorite lab, please go to this link to download your images. The price ranges from $8.00 for a file suitable for website use to $150 for a full resolution file suitable for poster-sized prints. The downloads are available for “Personal Use Only” and cannot be used for commercial purposes without the consent of the photographer, the subject and any applicable governing bodies. The copyrights are retained by the photographer.
Q: How many images do you post from each game?
A: We do not target a specific number of images per game nor do we guarantee a specific number of images per event. The number of images posted depends on whether the image meets our quality standards. We generally will post about 100 to 150 images from each game though it could be 75 to 100 for certain indoor sports such as basketball and volleyball.
Q: I cannot seem to find the gallery for our event I know you attended. Where can I find them?
A: If you cannot find a specific gallery, please complete the CONTACT FORM and we can locate the gallery for you. Alternatively, you can try searching for the gallery in our ARCHIVES.
Q: I do not want my athlete’s image to appear on your site. Can I have them removed?
A: Yes. Simply send us an e-mail explaining your relationship to the athlete as well as your phone number and we will be happy to remove those images.
