June 15, 2008:The Star-Ledger today announced its 2008 Spring All-Stars: All-State Girls Lacrosse Team, which included Alyssa Dragon (Bridgewater-Raritan), Danielle Van Fossan (Chatham), Kelly Draper (Shore), Ali Cassera (West Essex), Virginia Weber (Moorestown), Kirsten Donahue (Seneca), Alyssa Ogle (Moorestown), Lauren Murray (Chatham), Annie McGinley (Moorestown), Ilyssa McIntyre (Oak Knoll), Kyla Damback (Mendham) and Barb Previ (Shawnee). Also, congratulations to Annie McGinley and Deb Marriott for being named the Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively. We look forward to photographing these athletes in action next year when they play in college. Here are the All-Stars in Action:

The Northwestern University women’s lacrosse team, which includes New Jersey’s very own Kim Pantages (West Essex High School) and Laura Clemente (Madison High School), pose with the trophy after the Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championship held at Johnny Unitas Stadium on the Towson University campus in Towson, MD. East Hanover, NJ – The home crowd was fired up as Hanover Park improved to 9-5, 5-0 in conference matches. This sets up a great week for the Hornets who travel to Parsippany (1 loss in confernce) and host Mendham (no losses in conference). Rich Szymczak, Jake Gruebert, Mike Lomio and Antonio Delvescovo all won on pins for the Hornets. West Essex received top performances from Sal Tobia, Jimmy Ciampi and Mike Droz.
